General Information

Each bus line has its own method of processing lost and found requests. If you believe that you left an item on a specific bus line, please use the resource numbers below to contact their respective lost and found services. If you believe your missing item was lost at the Temporary Terminal, please contact our facility manager directly at 415.977.0531 or by emailing:

All items left at the Temporary Terminal will be held for 30 days.

AC Transit

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm; closed holidays

If you left personal belongings on the bus, please call Customer Relations at 510.891.4706 to ask if they have been turned in. Please be prepared to give the route, date and description of item(s). Lost items are kept for 30 days.

Please provide as much information as possible, including the date of loss, description of the lost item, the letter or number of the Muni line or route, the four digit number of the vehicle (cable car numbers have one or two digits), the location, the direction of travel and the time of day.

Property that has not been disposed of and for which retrieval has been arranged will be held for 30 days, and then will be disposed of.
